Who Am I?

About a year after arriving in Nashville in 2016, I underwent Open Spinal Cord surgery.  It was a very long and grueling healing process.  Through this recovery, I made the decision to hang up my mundane 9-5 workdays in finance/law, and dive into the round the clock world of full time Makeup Artistry and Production...thus truly doing what I love...

I grew up in a Military household, then went on to marry a career Soldier. During those 15 years I wholeheartedly adapted to and supported David and his tenure with the Army.  We faced many many moves and separations along the way.  He has since retired, and shifted careers as a Sheriff's Deputy here in Nashville!  

I have always had a deeply rooted passion for makeup and making others feel and see the beauty they themselves never recognized. I found a way to utilize that passion through Make Up Artistry. I provided services to the many military wives I have met along the way for Military Balls, Pageants, as well as their childrens’ Sr. Portraits, Weddings, Engagements, etc.  Upon my Husband’s retirement, we found ourselves landing in Nashville for our “forever home”.  

We love it here, and are flourishing in the entertainment world as a family!  My two sons have not only entered the world of modeling and screenplay, but also regularly assist me (or other crew members) on sets and shoots.  

I welcome feedback, and I am ALWAYS available for tips, tutorials, or answers to questions. I love this industry!  I’m afforded the freedom and luxury of being able to work from wherever and whenever I choose. It is my absolute joy to help you achieve the look you are seeking or require for a project, event, or ongoing career. I would love the chance to work with you.

I have been trained by some of the industry’s best, including Chasity Adkisson, with multiple celebrity publications and events on her resume, including Rolling Stone Magazine, IMATS, MUA for the Tennessee Titans Cheerleading Squad (A Veteran Titans Cheerleader herself); as well as Bennett Jason, Celebrity MUA. In addition to my practical and technical training, I have worked and currently work with a number of professional photographers including one of the industry’s best, Don McPeak. His resume includes more than 10,000 print publications within Sports Illustrated, USA Today and Reuters just to name a few.

I am currently working on the H/MUA team for a Netflix Originals series as well as Epic Sony/RCA Studios for music video production and live performances, all while freelancing for Nashville and surrounding areas.

I am always available for what YOU are looking for, but I also offer advice, tips, and help along the way. Whether it be a one day event such as a pageant or wedding, or traveling with you on tour. I am willing to do whatever it takes to replicate the look you desire. As an added bonus, I have multiple references and models that will testify that I am a great listener, I will make you laugh, comfortable, and pamper you. But most importantly, I guarantee you will leave my chair with a smile on your face. I feel if you head to the camera doing anything less than smiling, I have done us both a disservice.
